An RCJ500RC reverse-circulation drilling rig was recently delivered to an African mining site to support fast, continuous rock sampling operations. The drilling rig will be used for mineral exploration projects requiring efficient sample recovery and deep drilling capability.

Reverse circulation drilling is widely used in mining exploration because it allows rock chips to be transported quickly from the bottom of the hole back to the surface. The RCJ500RC adopts a dual-wall drill rod structure, where compressed air carries samples upward through the inner tube while the outer pipe maintains drilling stability.

The drilling rig is powered by a Cummins six-cylinder engine and equipped with a crawler hydraulic platform suitable for uneven ground conditions often found in mining regions. Its pneumatic hammer drilling system supports penetration through hard rock formations while maintaining steady drilling progress.

To improve sample collection management, the machine includes a cyclone separator system. During drilling, collected cuttings are discharged directly into sample bags, helping field crews organize geological data more efficiently.

With a drilling depth capacity of up to 500 meters, the RCJ500RC reverse circulation drilling rig is suitable for gold mining exploration, geological investigation, and resource evaluation projects.
