Correct and Safe Operation Procedures for Rotary Drilling Rig
Application precautions
a. After starting the engine, operate at low speed for 3-5 minutes, and turn the power head under no load, so as to facilitate the normal operation of the hydraulic system.
b. During the operation of the drilling rig, the operator shall often check whether various appearance indications are normal. If there are abnormal conditions, the drilling rig shall be stopped in time for inspection.
c. During the handling of the drilling rig, the crawler needs to be opened after getting off the flatbed truck.
d. When welding drill pipe parts, it is necessary to turn off the power switch.
e. Check the reverse connector regularly.
Rig assembly and disassembly
a. Before the assembly and disassembly of the drilling rig, the mechanical technicians must formulate detailed implementation plans and safety measures according to the operation instructions of the manufacturer and strictly implement them.
b. The hoisting of components shall be commanded by professionals, and the corresponding steel wire rope shall be selected according to the detailed weight. It is forbidden to assemble or disassemble the drilling rig under strong wind, heavy rain or unclear lifting vision.
c. When assembling the drilling rig, ensure that the base of the drilling rig is horizontal and firm.
d. After assembly, thoroughly check and adjust the straightness of the drill frame, and the center error of the drill pipe shall meet the construction requirements.
Preparation before drilling
a. All bolts shall be complete, intact and fastened.
b. The condition and smooth curing condition of the steel wire rope shall meet the requirements. The appearance of the steel wire rope shall be inspected once a week, and a thorough and detailed inspection shall be conducted at least once a week.
c. The oil level height of the main and auxiliary hydraulic oil tank, rotary table, power head and fuel tank of the drilling rig shall be within the range specified in the manual, and shall be increased in time in case of lack. Check the oil quality. If the oil is deteriorated, it should be replaced immediately.
