The BW850 Mud Pump is a compact, durable, and high-performance double-cylinder, single-acting horizontal piston pump, engineered to deliver reliable mud circulation for a wide range of drilling operations. Designed for geological exploration, mineral resource drilling, foundation engineering, and large-diameter water well drilling, it provides stable and efficient fluid delivery even under demanding field conditions.
With a displacement range of 600 to 800 liters per minute (L/min), the BW850 offers strong adaptability to different geological formations and drilling depths. It is typically used with large-diameter drilling rigs in the 200–600 m depth range, supplying flushing fluid to the borehole to improve drilling efficiency and hole quality. The pump is also suitable for water well rigs up to 300 m deep and 500 mm in diameter, ensuring efficient cuttings removal and bit cooling.
The pump features a horizontal, double-cylinder, double-acting design that ensures a smooth and continuous flow of drilling fluid. Its dry-type friction clutch provides flexible variable control, stable transmission, and low noise operation. The simple internal structure allows for convenient maintenance, while the low center of gravity improves operational stability and vibration resistance. Optional bi-metal cylinder liners significantly extend service life and reliability in abrasive conditions.
The BW850 performs essential drilling functions such as bit cooling, cuttings removal, and borehole wall protection, maintaining consistent pressure to prevent collapse.
