RCZ460 Hydraulic Rock Drilling Machine: Advanced Equipment for Hard Rock Drilling with DTH Technology
The RCZ460 Hydraulic Rock Drilling Machine combines down-the-hole (DTH) drilling technology with an all-terrain structural design, making it suitable for hard rock drilling in mining, construction, and geothermal applications.
Equipped with an automatic drill rod handling system, a heavy-duty traction motor, and a swing chassis, the machine uses high-pressure air from an air compressor to drive the pneumatic hammer piston. This piston strikes the drill bit thousands of times per minute to break rock, while compressed air removes cuttings to maintain continuous drilling.
The rig offers a traction speed of 3 km/h, a climbing capacity of 25°, and a chassis swing range of ±10°, allowing for stable operation in challenging terrain. Its dual hydraulic motor-driven rotation system enables stepless torque adjustment for hole diameters ranging from Φ70 to Φ150 mm. With in-cab parameter monitoring and an automatic alarm system, the machine achieves a hole deviation of less than 1%, and drilling depths exceeding 100 meters.
The integrated two-stage dust collector ensures a filtration efficiency of 95%, meeting environmental standards. The hydraulic system features a modular, integrated valve block design for easier maintenance and service.
The RCZ460 is well-suited for drilling tasks such as open-pit quarry blast holes, mine anchor holes, geothermal wells, and urban hard rock pile foundations. Combining the deep penetration capability of DTH technology with energy efficiency and high performance, this machine is widely applied in mining and construction projects worldwide.
