Products Description
The RCK400P Core Drill Rig is a compact, portable, and high-efficiency drilling solution designed for core sampling and geological exploration in limited spaces. Weighing only 1,800 kg, it can reach drilling depths of up to 480 meters, making it a good choice for deep yet mobile drilling operations.
Built with a mast-style frame, the RCK400P eliminates the need for a bulky drill tower, allowing operators to perform drilling at angles between 45° and 90° with ease. Its hydraulic drive system delivers stable performance even in tight underground environments, and under suitable geological conditions, the rig is capable of reaching depths of up to 600 meters.
Unlike traditional deep-hole core drilling rigs that are heavy, difficult to transport, and often require disassembly before relocation, the RCK400P is engineered for easy manual transport and rapid site deployment. This lightweight and modular design not only simplifies logistics but also reduces operational and transportation costs, offering greater flexibility for field exploration teams.
With its balance of mobility, drilling depth, and hydraulic efficiency, the RCK400P provides a practical and reliable solution for geological surveys, mineral exploration, and core sampling projects in challenging or confined working conditions.

application
The RCK400P hydraulic core drill rig is a compact and versatile machine designed for a wide range of applications, including mineral exploration, infrastructure development (such as railways, highways, and bridges), water conservancy, hydropower projects, tunnel investigation, and geological surveys. Its lightweight design and strong adaptability make it especially suitable for challenging terrains like mountains, forests, and plateaus.

Safe and Efficient Wireline Coring with the RCK400P Portable Core Drill Rig

The RCK400P Portable Core Drill Rig is engineered for wireline coring operations that demand precision, safety, and consistent hydraulic performance. To achieve stable and efficient drilling results, proper operation and equipment checks are essential throughout the process.
- Pre-Operation Inspection
Before drilling, carefully inspect all key components. Ensure drill bit wear does not exceed 2 mm, and wire rope damage remains below 5%. Conduct full system checks on the hydraulic control system and mast frame before coring begins.
- Maintain Optimal Pressure and Flow
During operation, monitor pump pressure and flow rate closely. Abnormal readings-such as pressure above 15 MPa or sudden drops-may indicate downhole complications. The ideal working pressure for the RCK400P is 8–12 MPa, ensuring stable coring performance and longer tool life.
- Handling Core Blockage
If core blockage occurs (shown by a halt in drilling progress and a sudden pressure increase), immediately stop drilling. Lift and rotate the drill string gently back and forth to clear the obstruction before continuing.
- Tool Retrieval and Alignment
In wireline coring, retrieval issues often result from improper alignment or failure to latch onto the connector. If recovery fails after two or three attempts, stop and realign the tools before proceeding.
- Operational Safety
Keep borehole deviation within 1% and always verify vertical alignment before drilling. Avoid any contact with rotating components, and ensure all operators are professionally trained in hydraulic and wireline coring procedures.
By following these best practices, operators can fully utilize the RCK400P hydraulic core drilling machine's capabilities, reducing tool wear and downtime while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable core sampling performance in the field.
Certificate
Our products have passed CE certification and ISO9001 quality management system certification, ensuring that they meet international standards in terms of safety, reliability and quality.
