General Description
The RCDX-6A is a crawler-mounted, fully hydraulic rock core drilling rig designed with a focus on safety, ease of operation, and consistent performance. Each key component is engineered to meet the demands of complex geological environments, making it suitable for both exploration and mining applications.
The rig features dual mast-lifting cylinders with integrated balance valves, which enhance stability and safety during the mast's lifting and positioning processes. This reduces operational risk and helps maintain control during setup.
An independent control panel paired with a simplified hydraulic system allows for straightforward operation and easy maintenance. The upgraded gear lever design offers an extra layer of protection for operators, contributing to safer day-to-day use.
The hydraulic system adopts a dual-coupled pump setup with a PTO-driven auxiliary pump. This layout simplifies maintenance, reduces downtime, and lowers operating costs over time.
The solid lattice mast structure provides strong rigidity, enabling reliable performance even under tough working conditions. Its design ensures structural durability and supports continuous, stable drilling operations.
The rig is fitted with a NITRO-CHUCK clamping system featuring a patented nitrogen-spring mechanism with hydraulic open and spring-close functions. This ensures safe, consistent clamping of the drill rod throughout drilling.
The power head is driven by a variable-speed motor with two adjustable speeds, while the feed system uses a chain-driven cylinder for steady, controlled movement. The mast tilts from 0° to 90°, offering flexible drilling angles. With a low center of gravity, the rig delivers stable performance and a more comfortable operating experience.
The RCDX-6A is built to perform reliably across a wide range of conditions, providing strong support for core drilling, geological survey work, and mineral exploration.
